An “unusual” hobby enjoyed by Queen Camilla until tragedy struck in 2024.

Read MoreYou can take Zendaya off the Challengers Press Tour, but you can't remove the Challengers Press Tour palette from Zendaya's wardrobe. Nor can they introduce new sports-inspired styles into the mix, such as the riding boot trend.
Zendaya made a surprise appearance at the July 10 press night for Slave Play at the Noel Coward Theatre in London, England. The actress, who hugged playwright Jeremy O. Harris at the post-show reception, looked as if she had just emerged from an interview for a tennis-themed film. Chartreuse (which looks like a tennis ball and is close to the trendy brat green), and vintage Dior (like many other archival pieces she wore on tour).
The second half of Zendaya's look leaned toward New England readiness, including a beige miniskirt and knee-high leather riding boots. This was in keeping with Z's Challengers wardrobe as well: the custom On tennis set and vintage pulls had a country club energy that her boots exuded. In this case, Zendaya might have been dressed for an afternoon of watching tennis, not playing it. (Of course, we know she was spending the evening indoors to watch the unveiling of her Tony-nominated play across the pond.)
Zendaya ran a marathon in a vintage Ralph Lauren blazer, a remixed Louis Vuitton Wimbledon tennis white gown, and a court-inspired Loewe to promote Challengers and the global fashion months after taking the circuit by storm. She and stylist Lo Roach have found ways to incorporate "method dressing," or character-driven styling, into their post-premiere wardrobes as well; in May, Zendaya wore boyfriend Tom Holland to the premiere of "Romeo + Juliet" with She supported her boyfriend Tom Holland in an Elizabethan gown by Vivienne Westwood. With her corseted bodice and dramatic necklace, she blended right in with the production, minus the fact that Zendaya is a world-renowned actress.
Zendaya's latest outfit for a night out in London is also one of her first winks to the wider trend. While riding boots are usually a fall staple, the adventurous guest at Couture Fashion Week styled knee-high leather shoes with longer shorts and miniskirts. Traditional houses like Burberry have been toying with equestrian codes in recent collections, bringing horsegirl energy to the forefront in the form of saddlebags and tall leather boots. Only Zendaya could make the summer boot trend transcend the confines of fashion week. Buy her inspired boots and pair them with a tiny mini skirt and a sheer knit of your choice. (No Dior tag required)
