Haley Bieber embraces the bubble skirt trend for a date night with Justin Bieber.

Since announcing her pregnancy in May, Hailey Bieber has made it her mission to go out in her best maternity look. So far, she's taken her minimalist chic (but bold) dress code to the office, wearing crop tops and sheer shirts. Now, the Rohde founder's subversive mom-to-be style has landed on a rapidly emerging trend: the bubble skirt.

After making a pit stop in New York City for Mrs. Bieber's newly released Rohde blush launch, the couple was spotted back at their Beverly Hills home on Wednesday, June 26, as they left the city's popular Funke restaurant after a late-night dinner date, hand in hand. They were holding hands and tying the knot.

The 27-year-old opted for all black for the evening. Her outfit of the evening was a silhouetted black short-sleeved mini-dress with elastic smocking throughout that allowed her growing baby bump to breathe (the exact designer of this look has yet to be revealed by her stylist, Dani Michel).

Her little dress also featured one of this year's rising styles, in Bieber's case, a bubble-hem skirt that hit at the thigh. She paired it with her favorite black loafers, a black shoulder bag, and matching oval sunglasses.

Bieber kept it simple and glamorous for the occasion, styling her short brown hair into loose, crinkly waves. Her cheeks were rosy pink, probably from her new Rohde Drop blush.

She put her hand around her husband Justin's arm and wore a light blue collared shirt with dark wash jeans and a gray beanie.

Bieber's frilly bubble dress contrasted with the bold lace catsuit she wore during her weekend in New York.

She ripped a page out of Kylie Jenner's pregnancy playbook from a few years ago and went nearly naked for Rohde's promotional day.On Saturday, June 22, Bieber wore a see-through, all-black lace catsuit by Alessandra Rich with Saint Laurent pumps, and wore a long, oversized leather trench coat.

But back to the controversial bubblehemes, the 80s-inspired style, coupled with a subtle ballet-core aesthetic, has been all the rage in recent style currents. The return of the bulbous skirt was first witnessed on runways including collections by Tibi, Alaia, and Tory Burch. (At this point, who doesn't own a white bubble skirt from J.Crew?) While there are certainly likes and dislikes for the voluminous silhouette, celebrities like Sabrina Carpenter, Zendaya, Kylie Jenner, and now Hailey Bieber are clearly fans. and fluffy minis are here to stay.
