Sienna Miller Says Bohemian Wooden Clog Trend is Back

Sienna Miller Says Bohemian Wooden Clog Trend is Back

Everything old is new again. A few months ago, Katie Holmes revived the wedge sandal, followed by a slew of trend-setting celebrities, including Natalie Portman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Lily-Rose Depp. We are also in the midst of a ballet flat renaissance. And last week, Demi Moore endorsed the 2010s-esque gladiator sandal. And now Sienna Miller is throwing her hat (and shoes) into the ring to revive the clogs trend.

The actress was photographed yesterday at Treasure House, an art and antiques fair in London, wearing Chloe's Jeannette wedge clog in black. She paired these chunky wooden heels with Rohde's equally bohemian set: a black cropped blouse with a fitted sweetheart bodice and puff sleeves, and a matching tiered maxi skirt with cutouts embroidered along the hem.

Clogs are not surprising after the Birkenstock revival that has been going on for the past few years. Even brands such as Kaite, Gucci, and Dior have begun to reintroduce the controversial style, and the return of the clog in 2024 coincides with the return of "boho chic" to the fashion zeitgeist.

Miller's Chloe clogs are representative of the brand's Fall 2024 collection, filled with slouchy leather boots, sheer ruffles, earthy neutral colors, fringe, and lace. Perhaps the most boho retro of all is the kitten-heeled clog named the "Judith Clog." Speaking of kitten heel combinations, yesterday Sarah Jessica Parker wore a hybrid of kitten heels, ballet flats, and mary janes. Perhaps the kitten heel mashup will coincide with the comeback of the clog.

Miller is a Chloe girl to the core and is often seen out and about in the Chloe brand, from the red carpet to walking the streets. At this year's Met Gala, Chloé dressed Miller in her latest creation straight off the runway. It's a white ruffled silk lace maxi dress and black Jade stud embellished leather pumps.
