On Saturday, June 28, actress Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted in New York City filming a dinner date scene for the hit show HBO Maxx. Even when the cameras weren't rolling, the Sex and the City star accentuated her TV-worthy look with single-strap black pumps while carrying a large SJP white tote bag.

The star's mid-calf length bottoms definitely matched this summer's look. Once popularized by Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot, and Marilyn Monroe, capris are now appearing on the Hollywood A-list of the likes of Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Emily Ratakowski.

Walking the streets of her native New York, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted wearing a cross between a kitten heel, ballet flats, and a Mary Jane. The black leather shoes were adorned with a small bow at the toe and a string of pearls at the bridge of her foot, enhancing the practical trend.
