Angelina Jolie and daughter Vivienne celebrate Jolie's first Tony victory in matching outfits

Angelina Jolie on 6/16 S.E.Not only did she win her first Tony Award for producing the musical "The Outsider" based on Hinton's classic novel. She did so with a refreshing twist on the mother-daughter dressing with her 15-year-old daughter Vivienne by her side.

The duo walked the Tonys red (or rather, dark navy) carpet, adjusting the tint of teal, and created a unified palette that was interpreted in a way that was true to their personal style. Jolie chose the Atelier Versace corset gown made from velvet. Her appearance featured a matching velvet shawl hung over the shoulder. It's not like the rich mom uniform she wears off-duty, it's like the Statue of Liberty, and she decided to hit the Broadway Award show.

Meanwhile, Vivien chose a teal tone from her mother's dress, but instead chose a suit. Her appearance included a white button-down shirt, converse sneakers, pants, bow tie and a dark teal vest.

Both mother and daughter parted to the side with their hair down to minimize beauty. Jolie's look came back to the premiere of the Broadway Outsider, she wore a dress of a golden goddess with a dramatic cape thrown on top.

There was no more opportunity for parents to take their daughter to the red Carpet. In the middle of the evening, Jolie brought home an award for the best producer for outsiders. Not only was it her first Tony win, but it also achieved the coveted Egot (it was Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) trophy sweep, so Jolie also holds the Oscar for her performance Girl, interrupted. Producer Matthew Lego made an acceptance speech on behalf of the entire team, but he gave Jolly a cry by name in his speech.

Both Jolie and Vivienne stood with the cast and production team on stage — the 15-year-old Vivienne also said that her mother advised her mother to watch the early staging of the musical in California, but the pair did not appear on Broadway. He provided a note of the current version in the New York Times.

This mother-daughter duo was not the only one to mark a special occasion with matching outfits. The day before, Princess Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte attended the annual Trooping The Colour, which coordinates navy and white dresses.
