Emily Rutakowski Announces Editor-Approved Color Blocking Trend for Vacation

It's official: Emily Ratakowski knows how to celebrate her birthday in style, and she's doing so with an editor's favorite white skirt outfit idea.

On Wednesday, June 12, the model posted a series of photos on her Instagram account, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at her recent birthday celebration abroad." Bunch of a birthday gal in her element: 🇮🇹 ➕surrounded by some of my favorite people!" she captioned them. Ratakowski captioned the post, which is sure to give her followers some serious FOMO. 'Thanks for the lovely birthday wishes. My heart is warm, my belly is tan and full of pasta!"

In the first photo, Rutkowski poses for the camera in a black and white Helsaffel color block midi dress, showing off a gorgeous Guimagus pilleta glass necklace and Jordan Lord Monaco small silver hoop earrings. summer 2024 trend, a one-and-done look with a black top and white maxi skirt.

The model effortlessly completed the look with a Paco Rabanne chainmaille bag slung over her shoulder.

If that wasn't enough to inspire longing for a trip to the Italian coast, Ratakowski shared a short video highlighting another summer must-have outfit, featuring a white Guimagua Mia top that draped perfectly across her front and showed off her midriff. The top is nearly backless, with only one subtle strap connecting at the front.

To complete the look, the model paired the boho chic, beach-ready top with bright red low-rise Guimagua Derya pants and her go-to Guimagua Mini Franca bag.

In another of her "you wish you were here" videos, Ratajowski showed off a beach bikini under a red and white striped button-up Guimagua Adrienne shirt and matching Guimagua Marine shorts.

She paired the look with a simple butter yellow baseball cap by Paris Review, oval-framed yellow sunglasses with Miu Miu logo plaques and nude K. Jaques Epicure flat sandals.

Ratakowski is going all out for the street style of 2024 and the boho chic and almost naked fashion trends that are sweeping the red carpet.

After this year's Met Gala, the model attended the official Met Gala after-party "AprèsMET" in a sheer violet slip mini dress from Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 1998 collection for Givenchy.

Styled by Jorden Bickham and sourced from Los Angeles-based store Tab Vintage, the almost revealing dress was made of violet mesh fabric, embroidered with blue stars, and the neckline and skirt were multicolor fringe beaded and The neckline and skirt were decorated with multi-colored fringed beads.

And in May, Rutkowski was spotted walking down the streets of Manhattan in a Mango bohemian-inspired translucent white lace sundress. Rivaling the bohemian summer trend sweeping the runway, the garment featured thin straps, scallops that hit at the ankles, and macramé cutouts with see-through, floral embroidery on the bodice and hips.
