It didn't take long for Meghan Markle to change into a major look for the second time on her Nigerian tour. This time, she went back to an outfit that style watchers will no doubt recognize.

After starting the day in a Heidi Merrick peach sundress for her welcome speech, Markle switched gears in an Altuzarra business-chic suit for the trip to Defense Headquarters. Her set, presumably styled by Jamie Mizrahi, featured a single-breasted blazer and pants with a slightly flared hem. Prince Harry walked beside her in a sharp blue suit.

Markle also tweaked her accessory lineup a bit. She removed her oversized vintage Lanvin earrings and Ariel Gordon bracelet from the morning, leaving only her Aurato chain necklace. On her feet, she wore brown pointed-toe heels by Manolo Blahnik.

Markle's crisp white suit exuded the stately energy expected for a formal visit with a government official. In contrast, she had begun the day in a backless dress similar to the St. Agni and Heidi Merrick pieces she wore at the Sentebale polo fundraiser in April.

The morning look, also by Heidi Merrick, was a sleeveless backless silhouette and tiered skirt. She paired it with minimalist sandals by Emme Parsons.

Back to the white pantsuit: while the exact set is new to Markle's wardrobe, the white blazer and coordinated pants are clearly within her comfort zone. The Duchess of Sussex wore a white double-breasted Valentino suit to the 2022 Invictus Games in the Netherlands. She also wore jeans and a white blazer to the 2018 Invictus Games in Australia.

All of the outfits Markle will wear on her three-day trip to Nigeria will provide a closer look at her aesthetic direction under stylist Jamie Mizrahi. Earlier this year, it was reported that Markle had hired Mizrahi, who also works with Jennifer Lawrence and Adele, to refine her personal style. This move coincides with several new image-building ventures for Markle, including her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchards.

While the backless cutout dresses from previous engagement ceremonies were a bold change for the former royal, her collection of white pantsuits is comparable to outfits she wore to past engagements. (Markle's new look may not be so different after all.
