Anne Hathaway has been recognized for many things throughout her career, including her outstanding acting ability and undeniable good looks, but her bold fashion sense is a recent addition to the star's repertoire. Hathaway has revealed herself to be quite the style icon over the past year, promoting "Irene" in late 2023 and her new romantic comedy "The Idea Of You" this week. Last night, she continued to earn her style stripes by attending a movie premiere in a bright red strapless Versace gown.

While the shade may be the first thing you notice, the construction and detailing of the dress makes it a showstopper. The corseted bodice is adorned with cutouts and the neckline is almost an inverted sweetheart. Thick tubular lines trace Hathaway's silhouette and lead to thigh-high leg slits.

Dressed by stylist Erin Walsh, Hathaway focused on her dress with a statement piece of diamond and emerald Bulgari Serpenti drop earrings and a subtle Bulgari ring. She wore her hair pulled back long and in a deliberately messy ponytail.

The week has only just begun, but Hathaway has already shown off five stunning looks to promote her next project. On Sunday, she mixed preppy and edgy in a three-piece leather set from the Ralph Lauren archives. The next day, Hathaway underwent a total of three outfit changes before she slipped into a red dress. For the Today Show, she wore a monochrome look with shoes, tights, a bag, a mini dress with patooties, and white. She then changed into a sheer Pacific blue sim-high skirt set, followed by a black Fleur du Mal bodysuit and satin pants.

Yesterday's cherry gown recalls another of Hathaway's recent looks: in February, just as she was establishing herself as a resurgent style icon, she sat front row at Versace's Milan Fashion Week show in a striking red dress The dress was an off-the-shoulder dress in PVC leather. The dress was a PVC leather off-the-shoulder midi with a corseted bodice and strategically folded waist. [Hathaway was named a Versace ambassador last year.
