For the past few weeks, Jennifer Lopez has been loving all things blue. From head-to-toe navy to wearing a variety of shades all at once, the musician has been experimenting with this color scheme on all fronts. Perhaps her June tour, "This Is Me.... Now," which would foreshadow the palette of her "This Is Me..." tour. But just as J.Lo was getting into the groove of moody hues, she showed off her monochrome getup in an unexpected way. For this pop star, it was all about turning blue into pure white.

On Tuesday, April 23, the 54-year-old left her Manhattan home and was photographed heading to her Town Car dressed in stark white. Her look that morning featured a chunky cream sweater adorned with flared-out long sleeves and a slouchy turtleneck.

J.Lo once again embraced high-low styling, pairing luxe knits with baggy light gray sweatpants. She kept the relaxed vibe in the bottoms, finishing the core of the look with white and green Stoudt x Keds sneakers.

Now, her accessories are where things get interesting (as always). For her outing, she coordinated with large sterling silver hoop earrings, oversized white sunglasses, and the best part of almost all of J.Lo's outfit, her unusual Himalayan Hermes Birkin bag.

To add a touch of glamour, she wore almost no makeup, just pinkish lip balm, and her brunette hair was tied back in a high bun.

There is an ongoing theme regarding Lopez and her Birkin bag. For years, the "All I Have" singer has used every opportunity, on and off screen, to demonstrate her affinity for the timeless Hermès classic bag. She has taken the croco-embossed Himalayan gem around the world, including Tokyo, while celebrating her children's 16th birthdays, and to the gym. (She has a six-figure handbag in her hand, and you'll see me taking it everywhere, too.)

The 54-year-old also likes to coordinate her Birkin bags. Most recently, she styled her vast collection during a monochrome outing this past weekend.

While running errands, she styled her dark blue Birkin with an all-navy outfit that included a long trench coat, matching sweater and yoga pants, and white K-Swiss sneakers. She also sometimes styles her Birkin with a fur coat or with a sweatshirt for a flashy, luxurious look.

These days, Jennifer Lopez hasn't taken too long a break from the sweatshirt and Birkin combination, and it doesn't look like she'll be stopping anytime soon; we'll see more unlikely mixes from the pop star until her U.S. tour begins in late June.

Not everyone can afford her exact Birkin bag (that is, unless you have $500,000 stashed away somewhere), but she has consistently nailed how to turn a monochrome high-low look into an unforgettable fashion moment.
