Zendaya's Tory Burch Set Returns to Tennis Basics

Zendaya did a press tour for Luca Guadagnino's new tennis film "Challengers". She is wearing high heels with neon-colored tennis balls pasted on them. Vintage sets in feathered tails and gowns printed with tennis player silhouettes. In recent days, however, the references have become more subtle.

With the help of longtime stylist Lo Roach, Zendaya returned to the tennis motif on Tuesday, April 23, but took the theme back to basics. A forest green tennis miniskirt with sporty tan, navy, green, and yellow stripes running down the side was paired with the brand's matching "Tech Pique" chevron polo. This set is perhaps her most true to theme outfit to date. (3]

Zendaya balanced her athletic look with feminine, all-white Christian Louboutin pinwheels. Bulgari's Serpenti Viper bracelet (a dramatic take on the classic tennis bracelet), Bulgari stud earrings with diamonds, Bulgari's Be Zero One white gold and diamond bangle, Canary diamond Bulgari Magnifica ring, adorned with diamonds.

Her new blonde hair was voluminous with a bouncy blowout bob and styled into a side part. Natural light makeup and a French manicure kept the look soft and preppy.

Zendaya's Tory Burch set was not the only understated tennis look she wore upon arrival in New York.

The star had several notable outfit changes yesterday. She started with a white Erdem midi dress with yellow floral patterns and bright green stripes throughout. She then changed into a neon-colored vintage Thierry Mugler suit. The night before, she wore a gray "I Told Ya" graphic T-shirt worn by Tashi Duncan, the character she plays in the upcoming film.

Zendaya's latest series of promotional outfits came after a week spent promoting Challengers in Los Angeles. She stepped away from the tennis green and tried on a deconstructed Vera Wong gown and a Jacums cut-out dress. Now that her true Grand Slam style is back, fans will be watching for her final green look at the New York premiere.
