According to a Page Six exclusive, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are planning to make their home in Los Angeles. There had been speculation (opens in new tab) that the couple and their young son Archie would take up permanent residence in Canada after a long and lovely vacation there, but this report indicates otherwise (and the Canadian rumor may also be true, as they may have homes in three different locations).

According to one source, "Meghan really wants to live in California. She likes the lifestyle and privacy. She has received advice about the move from close friends, including Oprah and the Clooneys, who have encouraged her and Harry to leave the royal family and make their own way."[3

Another source said (and I got a big guffaw here, but whatever) that "Meghan is an LA girl at heart and cares about money, power, and fame." In other words, that sounds a lot like the baseless and mean-spirited slander against Princess Meghan after the announcement.

As for me, I think the Los Angeles house for Meghan and Harry is spectacular.
