The past 12 months have produced a lot of great new music from talented musicians. Expect some of them, including Latin music star Rosalia (open in new tab), to win big at the 2020 Grammy Awards on January 26.

Rosalia hails from the small town of San Esteve Cesroviles in beautiful Barcelona, which is why the flamenco sound is so prevalent in her music. Rosalia first fell in love with flamenco at the age of 13, and since then she has devoted her energy to creating music in this genre. He also studied with José Miguel "El Chiquí" Vizcaya.

When Rosalia was 15, she auditioned for the Spanish singing competition Tú sí que vales. When it was her turn to sing, Teen-Rosalía performed an acoustic flamenco song followed by Alicia Keys' "No One," but the judges were not moved. She was not upset by that, however. If you don't have your antennae up for Latin music, there's a pretty good chance you haven't heard of Rosalia's music yet, but this flamenco fusion singer is fully successful on an international level. Since beginning her musical career as a teenager in Barcelona, Rosalia has been busy performing her original songs all over the world. She has performed in front of large crowds in Singapore, Argentina, and Panama, and is currently touring Europe to showcase her talents.
FYI, she has already worked with some of the biggest names in music-Pharell, Dua Lipa, Bille Ellish, and J Balvin are just a few of her past collaborators. Like I said, she's a big deal.
