The Duchess of Sussex's final official royal engagement has begun.

On Friday, Meghan Markle made a low-key visit to one of her many patronages, the National Theatre in London, to view its newest exhibit, Immersive Storytelling Studio. This new exhibit uses virtual reality technology to develop new forms of dramatic storytelling. In the photos shared, Markle is shown with Nubya Brandon and a hologram of herself, part of the "All Kind of Limbo" exhibit.

For her secret visit, Markle is wearing a quilted all-white pencil skirt by Laurent Mouret (opens in new tab), a chic sheer puff-sleeved blouse by Topshop (opens in new tab), and the same Loewe mini leather handbag (opens in new tab) that she wore on Thursday. Her all-white ensemble was a perfect example of how to wear spring's trickiest trend, dramatic sleeves, in workwear.

Images from Markle's visit were shared on the Sussex Royal Instagram account, and it was also confirmed that the Duke and Duchess saw a virtual reality presentation during their recent visit to Stanford University (opens in new tab).

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also visited Stanford University, where, as part of their learning journey, they were treated to a virtual reality presentation that allowed them to experience life through the perspective of others," the Sussex couple's caption read." The purpose of this virtual reality method is to help us better connect and empathize with each other as people, regardless of race, age, or nationality."[9

Markle's visit to the National Theatre will be the first of many remaining royal events before she and Prince Harry transition to post-royal life on April 1. The couple, along with Prince William and Kate Middleton, will attend a Commonwealth Day service (open in new tab) next week on March 9.
