The search for Naya Rivera continues, but those close to her remain hopeful that she will be found. On Friday, Taj Mowry, who dated Rivera and described their relationship as one of many "firsts," shared a touching tribute to the actress, who disappeared on July 8 on Lake Piru while on a boat trip with her son Josie.

In a moving post, Mowry declared his abiding love for Rivera and shared his hope that she will be found:

"My dear Naya - to say I am devastated is an understatement. This is a nightmare. Every day is harder. But I hold on to the hope that you will be found. We grew up together. We grew up together. We experienced many firsts together. Love, intimacy, heartbreak. We broke each other's hearts and then mended them... More than once. I will never stop thinking about you. No woman can match what you have given me and what you have made me feel. I hated to admit it, but I never stopped loving you. Part of me always hoped for the day God would bring us together again and we would have the kind of relationship we dreamed of. I pray deeply for the Rivera family. And now may God surround them with strength, peace and love. Mikal and Nikayla - you have always been like brothers to me and I love you with all my heart. I watched you both grow into beautiful adults. George and Yolanda- ...... If you ever need anything, I am here for you. We are a forever family. I ask that everyone reading this, along with the entire Rivera family, honor Ryan and Josie in your prayers and respect what they are going through at this time. May God pour out on the whole family the strength and peace that only He can give. I still have faith. I still have hope. Please let us all pray that she will be found and returned home safely. Naya, I miss you so much. I wish I had the chance to tell you that one more time, but I have faith that the opportunity will come. Deep down inside, I know that you have always known how I feel.
