Kate Middleton Explains Why Prince Louis Makes Social Distancing Difficult

Prince Louis, the youngest son of Kate Middleton and Prince William, has yet to come to grips with the new reality of the coronavirus pandemic, Kate said in a television appearance Tuesday. As Town and Country reports (opens in new tab), she explained on BBC Breakfast. 'That's why I like to carry everything, especially babies younger than me.'

As Town and Country points out, this is the second sign that the Cambridges have seen in recent months that their youngest son needs a little finesse in dealing with toddlers; in an April BBC interview, Kate and William were both told that Louis' video call (new tab ) at inopportune times. William said, "For whatever reason, he sees the red button and he always wants to press the red button."

Back to Kate's Tuesday TV appearance: the Duchess of Cambridge helped launch Tiny Happy People, an educational initiative that provides parents with resources to promote language development in under-fives. 'When I first became a mom, I wish I had this kind of information,' Kate said of the program.

"It's really nice to be provided with tips and tools that families can use, especially during the first five years."

Kate also showed off her summery hairstyle (open in new tab): short, face-framing layers and warm honey blonde highlights. You might want to make a note of this for when the salon reopens!
