Big fans of the royal family, or those who just can't get enough royal gossip! Kate Middleton and Prince William's (open in new tab) Norfolk country home, two houses next to Anmer Hall, are newly available for rent.

The properties available are one two-bedroom semi-detached house for £725 per month (about $900) and one three-bedroom house with a "large garden" for £875 (about $1,100). Both houses are located "on the opposite side of the tree-lined street" from Ammer Hall. In other words, you cannot strut into the Cambridge residence and peek through the windows or sneak in! This is because the Cambridges spend most of their time at Ammer Hall during the coronavirus pandemic.

Here is the difficulty. It is probably not worth giving up their U.S. passports and dreaming of a new life in the U.K. with the Cambridges as neighbors. This is because the website of the Sandringham Estate (opens in new tab), which is renting the property, states that preference will be given to applicants who "live and work locally. Additionally, the property cannot be rented out as a vacation home (are you rich?) . According to the website, "Sandringham's housing policy is to rent the property as a primary residence."

Oh, and there is a condition that, frankly, should be an absolute deal-breaker: the Sandringham complex has a "strict no-cat policy." Unforgivable.
