Read MorePrince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal departure (opens in new tab) has been a source of near-constant drama and speculation for the past several months. Royal correspondents Omid Scobie (opens in new tab) and Carolyn Durand (opens in new tab) have published an upcoming royal book, Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family ( Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family) will shed light on the more mysterious aspects of the Sussex couple's decision to share Harry and Meghan's (opens in new tab) side of the story with the world.
According to a new report in the Daily Mail (opens in new tab), some royal insiders believe the book will further strain the relationship (opens in new tab) between Harry and Meghan and other members of the royal family.
"It will be a gospel book by Meghan and Harry, so to speak," one royal source told the Mail. 'Everything that has happened regarding Meggitt will be seen through the prism of the two of them. What is unlikely to be revealed, however, is how it has since become clear that Harry and Meghan had been quietly planning their "exit" from the royal family for at least nine months before they finally announced their decision to leave the royal family this January."
Sources further claimed that Harry and Meghan's royal exit (opens in new tab) caused a lot of pain to the royal family, with Harry feeling stuck in the middle (opens in new tab) and at a loss for how to resolve the issues that had led to the split.
"Meghan was very outspoken about how unhappy she was, and Harry, who always hated the media and the so-called "men in gray suits" (of the palace), eventually saw this as a way out," the source said.
According to the Daily Mail, "Buckingham Palace fears the book will dash Harry and Meghan's hopes of mending their relationship with the rest of the royal family."
All we can do is hope that these royal officials' intuitions are wrong and that only good things will come from the book and for everyone in the royal family in the future.
