Rihanna says her long-awaited ninth album is "worth the wait."

It's okay, Navy folks: Rihanna confirmed that her ninth album (opens in new tab) is still very much in progress and assured her fans that they won't regret waiting, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight (opens in new tab). She revealed, "I'm always working on music, and when I'm ready to put it out the way I think it deserves, it will be announced," adding, "And I won't be disappointed when it happens. It will be worth it."

She added, "I'm not going to be disappointed if it happens.

Rie is also working on her eighth album, Anti (Fenty Beauty! Savage x Fenty! Fenty Maison Fenty Skin (opens in new tab). As a result, many have begun to speculate that her music career may have taken a backseat, which, while devastating, is quite understandable given how much business she does.

It is therefore a huge relief to rehearsal fans to hear her confirm that releasing new music is still very much a priority (although it does beg the question of whether Rihanna has time to sleep). 'I'm not going to put it out right away just because people are waiting for it,' she said. 'It's taken this long, and I'm going to make it worth it.'
