Just when you thought the release of Beyoncé's visual album "Black is King" (opens in new tab) was imminent and you couldn't get more excited about it, the Queen has released a new trailer featuring Blue Ivy Carter herself. Blue Ivy looks absolutely adorable in an off-the-shoulder gown, pearl necklace, and delicate pearl crown.

"Living this long without reflection might make you question whether you even really exist," Beyoncé says in the stunning new trailer. Watch it below:

The Disney+ special, which opens July 31, was written, directed, and executive produced by Beyoncé and was initially produced to accompany last year's (excellent) soundtrack to The Lion King: The Gift. Last month, Beyoncé wrote on Instagram, "'Black is King' is a labor of love. It's my passion project that I've been shooting, researching, and editing day and night for the past year. It's my passion project that I've been shooting, researching, and editing day and night for the past year. Originally shot as a companion piece to the soundtrack for "The Gift," a companion piece to "The Lion King," it was intended to celebrate the breadth and beauty of our black ancestry. I could not have imagined that a year later, the hard work that went into its creation would serve a greater purpose."

"The events of 2020 make the vision and message of this film all the more relevant as people around the world embark on this historic journey. We all seek security and light. Many of us are seeking change. I believe that by telling our stories, Black people can change the axis of the world and tell the true history of wealth and abundance of souls across generations that is not told in the history books," Beyoncé continued.
