Meghan Markle and Prince Harry buy house in Santa Barbara

Exciting Sussex Update! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have found a permanent family home in the United States after buying a house in the seaside town of Santa Barbara, California. And it looks like they've already taken a little time to settle in: a representative for the Sussex couple told "People" (opens in new tab), "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into the family home in July of this year."

Princess Meghan, Harry, and little Archie are already enjoying the privacy of their new home, about 100 miles from their former home in Los Angeles. Their agent said, "Since their arrival, they have become accustomed to the quiet privacy of that community and hope this will be respected by their neighbors and by their family."

Since their big move to the U.S., privacy has been a challenge for the Sussexes, with photographers hounding them at all hours. Last month, Megan and Harry took legal action after a drone was used to take pictures of baby Archie (open in new tab). Their attorney, Michael Kamp, wrote in the complaint that the couple filed the suit because of "the continuous invasion of the privacy of their 14-month-old child in their own home, and it is the desire and responsibility of any parent to do what is necessary to protect their child from such an artificial feeding frenzy." He writes.

"Some paparazzi and media personnel have been flying drones just 20 feet above the house three times a day to take pictures of the couple and their young son in their private residence," Kump continued. 'They also fly helicopters over the house's backyard from as early as 5:30 a.m. to as late as 7 p.m., waking up neighbors and their sons day after day. Some even drill holes in the security fence to spy on us." Let's hope Megan, Harry, and Archie get the peace and privacy they deserve in their new home in Santa Barbara.
