Prince Harry joins the Invictus Games Zoom Call from his new home in Montecito

Prince Harry (opens in new tab) may have moved to the United States, but he is still heavily involved with the Invictus Games (opens in new tab). Harry joined Zoom Call from his new Montecito home and spoke with former competitors of the Invictus Games who are participating in the At Home Superhero Trials.

During the video call, Harry spoke with Jen Warren from the UK, Bruno Gruemont from Canada, Mark Reidy from Australia, and team captain JJ Chalmers (opens in new tab). According to the Invictus Games Foundation's YouTube channel (opens in new tab), the team "recently participated in a virtual triathlon with a goal of 2020km."

When Prince Harry joined the call, Chalmers joked that he tried to book Captain America, but was able to book Captain Wales instead. The Duke of Sussex sternly retorted, "I'm sure your jokes haven't improved over the last few months."

Harry discussed the at-home challenge with his team and said, "I'm sure we'll get to it." With the lockdown and all the other stuff going on and The Hague being postponed (open in new tab), this must have been a great opportunity for you guys to do something like this together as a team, not just the physical aspect of improving your mental fitness." "It's a great way to have a goal and a purpose, and to have some distraction from your day-to-day life."
