Katie Holmes has a new man! On Sunday, she was photographed sitting on her lap and kissing a mystery man (opens in new tab) during a dinner date at Peasant Restaurant in Manhattan (photo in Daily Mail (opens in new tab). The man was soon identified as New York chef Emilio Vitolo. Things seem to be heating up: Holmes and Vitolo were seen (again!) participating in a cutesy PDA (opens in new tab) outside Emilio's Barato, the famous Nolita restaurant where Vitolo works. He's been spotted. So, what's up with Holmes' new guy?

The 33-year-old works with his father, mother, and three siblings at his family's restaurant, Emilio's Barato, in Soho. The restaurant has been around since the 90s and serves meatballs, chicken parmesan, and linguine with clams.

"It's a seven-day-a-week commitment," Vitolo told InStyle (opens in new tab) in September 2019 about the family business. 'If you do a restaurant the right way, you have to be there all the time. But on Sunday, my father was never the cook. My mother, who is from Peru, cooked dishes like chicken rice instead."

The restaurant is beloved by many celebrities, including Justin Bieber, Danny DeVito, Rihanna, Bradley Cooper, Whoopi Goldberg, and former President Barack Obama. He just finished filming a mafia movie called "Birthday Cake," starring Penn Badgley, Ashley Benson, Ewan McGregor, and many other A-listers.

A quick scroll through Vitolo's Instagram feed reveals that when he's not cooking at his family's restaurant, he's hanging out with high-profile celebrities. Everyone from Cuba Gooding Jr. to Lenny Kratys seems to consider the chef a good friend, but he seems especially close with the Jonas Brothers.

He spent New Year's Eve with Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner in 2017 and celebrated Joe's 30th birthday last August (opens in new tab). He has appeared in sketches with Joe on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (opens in new tab) and even called Joe "My brotha from Anotha motha" on IG (opens in new tab).

In the 21st century, nothing says "we might be dating" more than each other's social media followers; the two have not publicly stated their relationship on "the 'gram," but he left a comment (open in new tab) in July: a post on the set of Holmes' movie "The Secret" The photo he posted shows an emoji of two dancing women.
