William is reportedly quite upset that Kate Middleton was brought up in the Sussex couple's interview (opens in new tab) (Meghan Markle clarified the rumor, but otherwise just said nice things! (opens in new tab)), and Us Weekly magazine (opens in new tab) reports that Kate was a pillar of "strength" for her husband.

"Kate is a natural leader and has an amazing ability to keep her composure in the most difficult situations," said one source, while another said, "Kate is used to having all eyes on her. It also helps that she is solidly married to William; the two of them are able to lean on each other in difficult situations and discuss issues. She has remained a pillar of support for her husband throughout this whole ordeal."

While it is unclear what is going on behind the scenes between William and Harry, Gail King recently revealed that the royal family has not reached out to Meghan Markle (opens in new tab).

"I actually called them to see how they feel, but it's true, Harry spoke with his brother and he also spoke with his father," Gail said. 'Harry talked to his brother and he talked to his father. But they are happy that at least the conversation has started. And I think what they are still upset about is that the Palace keeps saying they want to resolve this in private, but they believe that there will be false stories that will be very defamatory of Meghan."
