Britney Spears has finally opened up about the Hulu and New York Times documentary "Framing Britney Spears" (opens in new tab).

Directed by Samantha Stark, the doc also sheds light on the ongoing #FreeBritney movement (opens in new tab) on social media, where fans are calling for the pop star to be freed from the shackles of personal and professional conservatorship that has dominated her life for over a decade The new tab is a great way for her to get out of the house and into the world of music. Yesterday, Spears posted a lengthy message on Instagram expressing her thoughts on the documentary's release, posting the note alongside a video of her dancing to Aerosmith's "Crazy."
"My life has always been so speculated," Spears began her post. 'I've been watched and ...... I have been judged! For my sanity, I have to dance every night at @iamstevent! All my life I have been subjected to performing in front of others...!!! It takes so much strength to trust the universe with my true vulnerability. I have always been criticized by the media... Insulted... I have been shamed...
Spears continued, admitting that she still feels "fragile" in the public eye and "embarrassed" by how her life was portrayed in the documentary.
"As the world keeps turning and life goes on, we still remain so fragile and sensitive as people! I haven't seen the documentary, but from what I've seen, I was embarrassed that they were making light of me ...... I cried for two weeks. I still cry sometimes!" Spears wrote." I am my own joy...... Love...... And I do what I can in myself and in my spirituality to keep happy ✨? ☀️ !!!! Dancing every day brings me joy! I am not here to be perfect ...... Perfection is boring ....... I am here to share kindness? !!!!."
