Kate Middleton and Prince William "look very happy together," photographer says
It's been really lovely to see Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoying a little PDA (opens in new tab) these past few weeks: they look really happy together.
Chris Floyd, the photographer who worked on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's (opens in new tab) 10th anniversary photo shoot in April, spoke to Us Weekly (opens in new tab) about his impression of the couple. "They were just like any normal married couple." They were just like any normal married couple who seem to love being very happy with each other. They were very honest."
Floyd did not want to be an overbearing photographer. I just said, 'Look, this is our 10th anniversary, forget I'm here, just be the couple you are. Forget about me. They don't need me telling them how they should be with each other."
The photo shoot was a wonderful bonding experience for the royal couple and their photographer. Floyd said, "It was their home, and I was made to feel welcome in their home." 'By the time I left that day, I felt like I'd known them for years. It was a really quick day."
But even though these particular clients were not your run-of-the-mill couple, Floyd still felt they were just people like you and me at the end of the day. 'The day itself was just like any normal shooting day. 'It was like going to someone else's house: ...... It wasn't like going to someone else's house, but it was like going to someone else's house. It was just a slightly grander version of most houses." Again, I would like to know why I wasn't invited.
