The Crown" Films Important Scenes of Princess Diana in Prince William's "Forecourt"

Another drama has emerged from the set of "The Crown". This time it is about the choice of location for the scene where Princess Diana arrives at the Serpentine Gallery in London in 1994 wearing a "revenge dress."

According to The Sun, the moment occurred on the same day that Prince Charles admitted on television to cheating on his wife. The Princess of Wales wore an off-the-shoulder black dress with a short, sweetheart neckline that was called a "revenge dress" for obvious reasons.

Elizabeth Debicki, who plays Princess Diana in the fifth season of The Crown, wore a similar dress to film this scene.

"They could have chosen any location to recreate this scene, but they chose a location that was mostly visible from William's bedroom window," a TV source told The Sun. 'If he had seen it, it would have been .......'

The source continued, "One might also ask how permission was granted to use the royal park to film a drama that the royal family is deeply unhappy about. But even more puzzling is the fact that 'The Crown' was allowed to film in a park that is also the home of Prince William."

While it is unlikely that Prince William actually spotted the actress in one of his mother's most iconic outfits, it is true that he could have been quite upset if he had. Needless to say, Prince William and other members of his family are already less than impressed with the creative decisions of The Crown."
