Kate Middleton laughs with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles, who are engaged to be married.

Getting along with in-laws in a marriage is quite important, and not always taken for granted. Thankfully for the Duchess of Cambridge, she seems to have a great relationship with her father-in-law Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.

The three made a joint outing to Trinity Buoy Wharf in East London, an arts and culture center that supports young people in creative fields. In their engagement photos, they seem to genuinely enjoy each other's company, even sharing a laugh.

For the occasion, Kate Middleton wore a Catherine Walker dress that she has already worn several times in the past, according to InStyle. The dress was almost coat-like, gray tweed, belted, and very Kate-like, and she paired it with black Gianvito Rossi pumps and a Mulberry mini bag.

According to Town & Country, during their visit, the three royals met with Nicole Christie, founder of the womenswear brand Ellipsis. Christie presented each of the two duchesses with a handbag and Princess Charlotte with a pink scrunchie. 'I gave Princess Charlotte a pink scrunchie. 'It was an honor for them to take the time to talk to me about what I started on their doorstep. They asked about my inspiration behind the collection. They wanted to know about my journey"

.

In a joint Instagram post, Clarence House and Kensington Palace wrote, "It was wonderful to be surrounded by creative activity at @trinitybuoywharf today. [Trinity Buoy Wharf has several programs run by @theprincesfoundation that provide valuable skills to help young people transition into art school, architecture school, crafts college, or directly into practice.

"It's a great example of using scholarships to reach people who normally wouldn't have access to such opportunities.
