Kate Middleton in her signature blazer look to learn about Ukraine aid
While the Queen was quietly celebrating her 96th birthday in Sandringham, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in London.
In the capital, the royal couple visited the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to learn about aid to Ukraine and its people during their conflict with Russia.
For the visit, the Duchess brought back her signature business casual look of blazer, tailored pants, and simple heeled pumps. The double-breasted beige blazer, which, as the Daily Mail noted, she had worn once before, was adorned with a Ukrainian flag pin.
While this particular Reiss style is no longer in stock (it's the Larsson model if you want to try your luck on Ebay), Nordstrom now carries a similar style to recreate the Duchess' look.
Posting about the event on Instagram, the Cambridges wrote, "With over 11 million people having to leave their homes to flee the conflict in Ukraine, we heard from the @disastersemergencycommittee about the support they are providing to those displaced We heard from @disastersemergencycommittee about the support they are providing to those displaced," he wrote.
"Here in the UK, people have been very generous with their donations, which has made this possible. In just seven weeks, an incredible £300 million has been raised.
"Thanks to these funds, DEC charities and our local partners in Ukraine and neighboring countries were able to provide food, water, shelter, and medical assistance to those most in need."
As for the Duchess' look, here are some of the times she showed off similar blazer-based outfits. Salmon at the Natural History Museum:
