Kate Middleton's breakup with Prince William cements her role as future queen.
A long time ago, the current Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who will celebrate their 11th year of marriage this weekend, had a public breakup in 2007, roughly five years into their relationship.
Kate later admitted that after her engagement to William, she was "not very happy" at the time, but later admitted that their brief separation of about three months was for the best.
"It actually made me stronger," she said. I learned things about myself that maybe I hadn't realized. I think when you're young, you can get caught up in love. I didn't think so at the time, but that time was really important to me as well."
[6 [Although Kate was frustrated, she never let it show, and her stoicism during the volatile 2007 period may have cemented her role as the future queen in the eyes of the entire royal family, not just William, the Daily Express reported. Kate not only filled her calendar with social events during that period, but more importantly, she remained completely silent about her relationship with William, Kinsey Scofield, founder and creator of ToDiForDaily.com, told the Express.
"The reason Kate was so certain," Scofield said, "is probably because [Kate and William] were together for so long, despite being considered commoners. [The royal family] knew that Kate was a good girl, and they knew she wouldn't talk to the media." She handled herself very well during the roller-coaster history of her relationship with Prince William and their marriage. There was no doubt in my mind that Kate was the future queen."

William also admitted to the 2007 breakup, saying that he and Kate were "trying to find our own way." Eventually, they found their way back to each other, and the rest is history ...... and since their marriage in 2011, they have had three children and are widely regarded as the future of the monarchy.
"It was a bit of a space," William said of the split. 'It worked out for the better.'
