[A spokesman for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed that not only will they be attending the Platinum Jubilee in the UK next month, but they will also be in the midst of the celebrations with Archie, who just turned 3 yesterday, and Lili, who turns 1 on June 4. On Lili's first birthday, she may be able to have her picture taken with her namesake, the Queen" (Lilibet was the Queen's childhood nickname, which her late husband, Prince Philip, preferred to call her in adulthood).
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan, are excited and honored to be able to attend the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations with their children this June," said a spokesman for the Sussex couple.
News of the family's attendance came shortly after the Queen announced that only active members of the royal family would appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for "Trooping the Colors," the monarch's annual public birthday celebration. In other words, no Sussex family, no Prince Andreu, no his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

[Her Majesty the Queen, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the five Cambridges, Princess Anne and her husband Sir Timothy Lawrence, Prince Edward and Sophie, and their two children, and the Queen's cousins, the Duke and Duchess of Kent and Gloucester and Princess Alexandra.
Trooping the Colour and the Birthday Parade on June 2 will kick off a long weekend of celebrations for Her Majesty the Queen, culminating with a special parade in central London on Sunday, June 5. PEOPLE will not see the Sussexes on the balcony of Buckingham Palace but speculates that they may be seen at another event, such as Thanksgiving Day, the following day, June 3.
"Traditionally, members of the extended family have attended Thanksgiving at the Jubilee 10 and 20 years ago.
Since departing as a member of the Royal Family society in January 2020, Prince Harry has returned to the UK three times and Princess Meghan once. Although born in the UK, Archie has not returned since stepping back and Lili has never been to her father's home country.
