Kanye West to Kim Kardashian After WSJ Innovator Awards: 'Dressing Like Marge Simpson, Her Career is Over'
On the latest episode of "The Kardashians," Kim Kardashian talked a great deal about how much she has come to rely on Kanye "Ye" West to style her events throughout their marriage.
Since filing for divorce, she has been trying to do more of her own styling, but West apparently does not approve. This doesn't sound particularly helpful on his part, given that Kim has admitted to Scott Disick that she feels insecure about choosing her own clothes.
In any case, Kim told Courtney how he has been trying to find out for himself what kind of person he is." I started asking him for advice on everything, down to what to wear. I still get like a panic attack, and I'm like, "What am I going to wear?" I worry about what to wear," he explained.
"And eventually, say in New York, he styled me for SNL, and I won the SKIMS Innovator Award from the Wall Street Journal.
At the same event, Kim wore a tight leather brown dress and matching long gloves that looked objectively incredible, but West made sure to give his unfiltered opinion of the look.
"Oh, and then he called me. He told me my career was over and showed me a picture of Marge Simpson wearing something similar."
"I was like, 'Oh, my God.
Both Kim and Coats then seemed upset and speechless, at which point the episode switched to a Kendall Jenner scene.
