You probably won't see much of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the Platinum Jubilee.

If you're expecting a splashy platinum jubilee appearance by the Sussex family, you may be disappointed, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be bringing their children Archie and Lili.

According to the Daily Express, "Royally Us" co-host Christine Ross, the couple will be "less visible" at the jubilee, choosing to attend a "private celebration" to honor the queen and keep a low profile.

"Meghan and Harry will attend the celebration," Ross says. 'I think they will attend mostly private celebrations. Honestly, I don't think they'll see each other very often. But they will be there, they are part of the family, and they won't interrupt the story."

The Platinum Jubilee, set for June 2 to June 5, honors Her Majesty's historic 70-year reign (she surpassed Queen Victoria a few years ago to become the longest reigning British monarch in history).

"If they don't go, then we're talking about them not going," Ross said. 'But if they are there, and if they are front and center on the balcony again, they will be in the headlines. I have a feeling that in the next few weeks there will be a lot of decisions that will force people to talk about the queen. It's all about the Queen. It is not about the drama with Harry and Meghan. It is not about the drama with Andrew."

Following a surprise visit to Windsor Castle to meet the Queen last month, the Sussexes were invited to the June 2 Trooping the Colour Parade and Platinum Jubilee on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. The Queen recently announced that only current members of the royal family would appear on the balcony, thus eliminating the possibility of an appearance by Mr. and Mrs. Sussex or Prince Andrew. Shortly after the Queen's decision was made, the Sussexes announced that they were "excited and honored" that all four members of their family would be in attendance.

"It's about Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and her 70-year reign," Ross said. 'So I think you're going to see a lot of careful consideration that will redirect that spotlight.'
