Prince William and Prince Harry "are very much back to their old ways" before the Platinum Jubilee.

Brothers Prince William and Prince Harry, whose relationship has been strained for about five years, will see each other again as platinum jubilee celebrations begin this week (the Sussex couple will reportedly fly to the UK soon). (According to an exclusive article in the Mirror, the brothers are making a deliberate effort to mend their rift and are hoping for a drama-free weekend celebrating their beloved grandmother, the Queen, and her 70th year on the throne.

According to the Mirror, the brothers regularly exchange messages on WhatsApp and have weekly FaceTiming sessions without their respective wives in order to heal their bond as brothers. (And it seems to be working, the paper says, "With William taking the first step toward healing the family rift before next weekend's celebrations, the previously contentious pair are now said to be back to some semblance of normalcy."

Interestingly, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle "have so far refrained from on-screen contact to give their husbands time to repair their relationship one-on-one," the Mirror said. Giving the husbands more time seems to have paid off, and William and Harry are back on solid footing.

"William sees Meghan for the good mother and faithful wife she is and is truly happy for his brother," a source told the Mirror, "They seem to have healed the rift and are back to their old ways." Meghan's distance from Kate has also helped to heal the friction between them."

Not surprisingly, William was disappointed with the abrupt way Harry and Meghan left the royal family, but time has softened the situation.

"The siblings needed time for everything to settle down," says the source. 'The family, including William, was disappointed by Harry and Meghan's choice to leave the royal family. But now there is a strong feeling that what happened is in the past and they have moved on."

This, of course, would be music to the ears of Her Majesty the Queen, who has been wishing for a smooth, tension-free, happy weekend celebrating the monarchy.

After arriving in London, the Sussexes will stay at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. Harry and Meghan will attend a Thanksgiving service to the Queen on June 3 and are expected to attend at least one other ceremony during the Jubilee celebrations. Lili's godparents and close friends are also expected to attend.

Harry and Meghan may also be seen riding in a carriage to the Jubilee pageant, but the Queen has invited only current royals to the balcony of Buckingham Palace after Trooping the Colour on June 2. According to the Mirror, Harry and Meghan The Mirror reports that instead of going to the balcony, the Queen may instead sit in the VIP section to watch the Horse Guards Parade.

"The queen wanted the jubilee to be a new start for the brothers," the source said. 'Harry is looking forward to going home and showing it to his family. After all, it is his hometown and he misses it."

Well, if this isn't good news for Sunday, I don't know what is!
