Kim Kardashian appears to cover for Pete Davidson as he arrives in London: body language expert

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have arrived in London. That's because the two were photographed in a series of paparazzi photos as they headed to dinner at a popular celebrity hangout in the British capital.

Neither star has announced what they are doing in London, but the timing is a bit odd for them to be in London three days before the start of the Jubilee weekend. The last we heard from Kardashian, she was posing on a boat after her sister Kourtney's wedding in Italy, wearing a sparkly bralette and miniskirt combination with a full-body see-through stockinged onesie underneath. The photo was accompanied by the cryptic caption, "Bad News-Nothing lasts forever / Good News-Nothing lasts forever." Anyway, the Daily Mail reported that the SKIMS founder's boyfriend of six months joined her in England and went on a date at London's River Cafe on Monday night.

For the occasion, Kardashian wore a black Balenciaga outfit, of course, while Davidson opted for a casual look with a layered bright plaid shirt The two had matching bleach blonde hair.

I thought the couple's photo revealed quite a lot about their relationship, so I asked body language expert Andy Corey for his expert opinion.

"When Pete emerges from the car, he seems to be trying to get away quickly and stay out of the limelight," Corley told Marie Claire. 'His posture then is forceful, shoulders back and face neutral, albeit with a half-smile.' She does not keep pace with him, nor does the hand that grabs her fur handbag, pulling back on her sleeve as if to slow him down."

"The thumbs up here gives his arms extra pressure/presence and works to slow him down before she walks alongside him," Cory explains in the photo above.

"Once side by side, her grip changes to be more protective of the man, but he is now hunched forward and looks less confident, even though they are more even as a couple," Cory adds. [But as a couple, she seems to be taking the position of protector and he is unconsciously playing that role." Interesting!
