Kate Middleton, future queen of grooming and body language expert

Today, as the Platinum Jubilee draws to a close, we have seen four days of confidence, poise, and elegance from Kate Middleton.

Body language expert Judy James told The Sun that Kate stepped up to the plate at Friday's thanksgiving celebration at St. Paul's Cathedral, especially in the absence of the queen, and assumed a royal presence during the ceremony. James said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge "looked like the future king and queen" in the way they carried themselves, and that Kate was "quite firm, as if she was starting to lead."

"She was the first to walk up and the first to wave to the crowd. She cast a glance at William at St. Paul's Abbey and nodded her head forward as if to inspire him to walk past her brother."

James said Kate radiated confidence, especially in a situation like Thanksgiving.

"She seems to be in her element at these events. Even when the queen isn't there, she takes over with a commanding presence."

James said Prince William seemed "jovial and cheerful" during the ceremony.

And just hours after Thanksgiving, the Mirror reported that Kate made a secret visit to the pediatric intensive care unit at Evelina Children's Hospital in South London to speak to parents, patients, and staff who were unable to attend the Platinum Jubilee festivities.

"We had a very special surprise last night!" !" the hospital wrote on Twitter. "Our patroness, the Duchess of Cambridge, stopped by for a personal visit to meet our patients, families and staff who were unable to join us for the celebrations this past weekend. Fortunately, the hospital was already decorated with platinum jubilee decorations made by the children and young people in our care. Thank you YRH for thinking of us."

Very regal indeed.
