Prince William is a "gentle soul" like Princess Diana, astrologer says

As Prince William turns 40 on June 21, the summer solstice, I pondered what this significant date might mean for the fifth year of his life and later when the time came for him to take the throne.

To learn more, I asked renowned psychic and astrologer Inbar Honigmann for insight into the star under which the Duke of Cambridge was born. As it turned out, his many similarities and strong bond with his late mother, Princess Diana, were written in those very stars.

"Like his mother, the late Princess Diana, Prince William was born in Cancer," Honigmann told Marie Claire.

"People born under the sign of Cancer are gentle souls who willingly put others before themselves. Cancerians are known for their kindness and devotion to family. This is William's sun sign and speaks volumes about his outward personality, the way he comes across."

But this kindness is not only superficial for the prince.

"In a complete astrological chart," she says, "you will also see his inner Moon sign, his true identity.

"It happens to be Cancer! So his kindness is both inside and out. A person whose sun and moon are in the same sign is considered to be a person of genuine integrity. He does not hide his secret qualities, because he is the same in public as when he is alone."

The astrologer goes on to decipher Prince William's rising sign and Saturn sign.

"Another important element in his chart is the ascendant, also known as the rising sign," Honigmann continues.

"This signifies his interests and passions, and William's are in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is a generous sign and loves to travel. William's Ascendant is the reason he enjoyed his overseas expeditions so much.

"As he grows and becomes king, he will embody the Saturn sign more. Saturn is the planet of slow, deliberate change and maturity. William's Saturn is in Libra, the sign of balance. He will be a fair and attentive king."

If you ask me, that is true!
