Official visit to Cambridge by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
Another day, another royal engagement.
The first pictures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's visit to the Duchy of Cambridge continue to arrive as I write.
During their visit to the city, the Duke and Duchess dressed in blue for each other. Kate Middleton chose a baby blue calf-length coat over a sweet patterned dress in blue, white, and orange (I think). She paired this look with her trusty suede pointy pumps (blue this time) and a navy blue clutch bag. Her hair was as luscious as ever, worn down in shiny, loose curls.
As for Prince William, he wore a business casual navy blue suit with a pale blue shirt slightly unbuttoned at the collar (bold!)
Cambridge.
To see their new portraits, painted by artist Jamie Coles, on display at the Fitzwilliam Museum at Cambridge University.
Royal journalist Lizzie Robinson wrote on Twitter, "The first official joint portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has been unveiled. It was painted by British portraitist Jamie Coles, who described it as "the most special privilege of my life."
According to Cambridgeshire Live, during his visit to Cambridgeshire, he will also attend the first Cambridgeshire County Day, established to celebrate the Jubilee.
He will attend festivities in nearby Newmarket and meet royal fans.
While leaving the Fitzwilliam Museum, the Cambridges met with local children and took time to talk to them.
If you can spare $2,500, the dress Kate wears in her portrait (Falconetti from The Vampire's Wife) is still in stock:
There is also a pink version of the L.K. Bennett dress Kate wore in Cambridgeshire:
