Rizzo, Sophie Turner, and other celebrities react to the overturning of the Roe v. Wade trial.

Last week's overturning of Roe v. Wade shook people across the country to their very foundations, and protests broke out across the country in response to the Supreme Court's decision. Since the news broke, public figures have been vocal and angry, and many celebrities have also spoken out.

Here is what people in the entertainment industry have to say about this legal move that makes access to abortion more dangerous for millions of people with uteruses.

A visibly emotional Sophie Turner expressed exactly how she felt about the decision to overturn the Roe decision via Instagram Stories. She said, "Overturning Roe v. Wade would set us back 50 years."

"This is not about saving lives. It will kill millions of women, put them in danger, and subject them to back-alley abortions, dangerous back-alley abortions, and they will die because of it"

.

"If this was actually about saving lives, and if anyone cared about saving lives, there would be gun control after the shootings that have occurred here in the United States. It's not about saving lives, it's about controlling women's bodies and controlling women's right to choose. And that is absolutely f*cking disgusting."
