Buckingham Palace will not release the results of Meghan Markle's bullying investigation.

Buckingham Palace has concluded its investigation into claims that Meghan Markle bullied palace staff and has no plans to release details of the report.

In early March 2021, The Times published a story about the Duchess of Sussex being accused of bullying royal staff. Buckingham Palace soon announced plans to investigate these claims.

The closed-door report, which is now being completed, looks at how the Palace handled the allegations and how it could handle similar situations in the future.

"The review is complete and our recommendations on policies and procedures are moving forward," Queen's Treasurer Michael Stevens told reporters (via Reuters). 'However, I will refrain from commenting further.'

An unnamed senior royal source said, "I think the objective has been achieved because lessons have been learned. What lessons were learned remains a mystery.

Markle himself has always denied the allegations, calling the Times article the result of a "calculated smear campaign."

In September 2021, these claims of bullying were rescinded by palace staff, but it was also revealed that the palace investigation continued as planned.

In a symbolic move, the Duchess announced through a spokesperson in January that she would donate damages from her court victory against the Daily Mail to an anti-bullying charity. The Duchess has previously been vocal about how painful media bullying of her was during her time as senior royalty.

According to Newsweek, people suspect that the reason the Palace is withholding the report's findings is because it shows that Markle was not actually bullying anyone. Another theory, however, is that they just want to avoid further drama.
