Prince Charles reportedly "delighted" to meet Lilibet for the first time.

Prince Charles seems to be more family oriented than you might think.

Prince Charles, heir to the throne, was able to meet his granddaughter Lilibet Diana, daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, for the first time at the recent Queen's Jubilee ceremony.

"It was a wonderful visit. The prince was delighted to see his grandson and meet his granddaughter for the first time," a royal source told People.

The official also said it was "wonderful" for the prince to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who had not returned to the UK on an official joint visit since relinquishing their royal duties (although they had recently stopped briefly on their way to the Netherlands).

As for being able to spend time with Archie and Lili, the source continued, "The Prince and Duchess [of Cornwall] were really thrilled to see them."

Prince Charles is a loving grandfather, so it makes sense that he was not cold to spend time with his children. 'My time with Archie was very special. 'He had never met his granddaughter Lilibet, so it was very touching to see her for the first time.'

Everything is sweet, everything is wholesome.

Sadly, Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly had a little more drama during the Sussex couple's visit to the UK

Prince Harry and Meghan hosted Lili's first birthday party, but the Cambridges were going to Wales They were unable to attend because they were going to Wales. While this was not an "intentional slight," it was still a blow to the Duke of Sussex that his brother could not be present for the celebration. Family is nice.
