The Duchess of Cambridge's sister and her hedge fund manager husband had their third child, a baby girl, two weeks ago, People has confirmed.
No name yet, but she is a new sister to Arthur, 3, and Grace, 1, and a cousin to the Cambridge children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.
On the father's side are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children Archie (3) and Lilibet (1).
Kate Middleton's other sibling, James Middleton, and his new wife, Alizée Thevenet, have no children yet.
Pippa Middleton and James Matthews were married in 2017, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in attendance and Prince George as page boy.
Although not officially part of the royal family, Matthews and his wife have been invited to important royal events, including the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, and Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston.
They are also often invited to the weddings of other royal family members.
They also attended the "Party at the Palace" concert for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in early June. It was at this time that it was publicly announced that Pippa was pregnant with their third child.
And of course, Pippa Middleton made a name for herself when she served as a bridesmaid for the Duchess's sister at her royal wedding to Prince William in 2011, carrying her train in Westminster Abbey with the groom's best man, Prince Harry.
On the career front, Pippa has written extensively on the art of hosting, including the 2012 book Celebrate (opens in new tab) and a food column for Waitrose Magazine In 2021, she enrolled in a "Holistic Practices" course and reportedly enrolled in a "holistic practices" course.
