Meghan Markle's neighbors apparently call her the "Princess of Montecito."

Being in the public eye is, quite frankly, a nightmare.

Imagine if you could Google your name and read all the mean things people are saying about you behind your back. It's a nightmare.

Anyway, no wonder Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stayed away from social media lately. Regular media hasn't been much better either: a source told "Closer" that the Sussex neighbors have been referring to the Duchess as the "Princess of Montecito."

Pause here for a moment. So if they call her that, it is obviously ironic and implies that she is spoiled or something. But at the same time, if somebody called me "the princess of northwest London," I would be thrilled, to be honest. I think it's a super cute nickname. And Markle may not be an actual princess, but she is married to a prince, which means there is a middle ground of being a princess.

Now that we have that cleared up, let's move on. The person involved described what life is like for the Duchess in California, and it sounds idyllic, to be honest.

"There's a lot more going on in Princess Meghan's world than people think.

"She spends most of her time in Montecito, but heads to LA every week or so."

They added, "Meghan loves to drive around LA and go on the same hiking trails she used to visit. Often, Meghan goes out alone with just herself and the dogs.

The Duchess apparently sends Archie off to school with his lunch and then goes home to work surrounded by books and crystals (I can relate to the latter detail).

Regarding Markle's work life, sources say, "Their house is large enough to host most of her business meetings, but sometimes Meghan secretly books a conference room at a five-star hotel in Beverly Hills, known to locals as the Pink Palace. She now devotes herself to working on a podcast that she can work from home."

Minus the ordeal of not telling her family, this is literally a dream.
