The Queen bestows special honor on Kate Middleton

How do I know if you are Queen Elizabeth's favorite? The Queen gives you special royal honors, as she reportedly did to Kate Middleton.

Joe Little, editor of Majesty magazine, said on the Royally Us podcast (via Express) that the Queen showed "great faith" in her granddaughter-in-law by giving her a Royal Family Order. This is not an official royal title, but is given by the head of state to female members of the royal family.

According to Little, this is evidence of the close relationship between the Duchess of Cambridge and Queen Elizabeth.

"It is only given to female members of the royal family who are considered to have supported the queen for quite some time," Little explains. Little explained, "So not every female member of the royal family has it, but Kate has it." [It is clear that the Queen has confidence in Prince William and Kate.

Queen Elizabeth has always been said to have a particularly close relationship with Kate. According to royal biographer Andrew Morton, in an interview with OK! he said, "It was striking that the queen adored and loved William not for his title, but for himself." He added, "She spent more time supporting and nurturing the relationship between William and Princess Catherine than she did with Charles and Diana. It is clear that she had no intention of making that mistake again."

He added, "I am sure that she would not have been able to do that again.
