Meghan Markle is photographed handing a coughing woman a water bottle.
Meghan Markle has many haters, but thankfully, her fans are balancing the narrative with positive messages about the Duchess of Sussex.
One fan set the record straight by posting a short video on Twitter of Markle and Prince Harry attending the United Nations on Monday, July 18.
In it, the royal spouses appear to be preparing for Harry's speech, with the Duke looking quite nervous and his wife sweetly reassuring him by holding his hand on her lap.
At one point in the video, when the woman sitting behind them begins to cough, the Duchess offers her a bottle of water from her bag, which the woman happily takes.
A Twitter user captioned the video, "Offering a bottle of water to another woman who is coughing says more about Meghan's character than any hit piece written about her. #MeghanMarkle #NelsonMandelaDay2022."
When they say "hit piece book," this Sussex fan is probably referring to Tom Bower's bombastic new biography, Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War of the Windsors (opens in a new tab), was released yesterday in the UK and is already a hot topic of conversation among royal watchers.
Bower is known to be extremely critical of his subjects, including Prince Charles and Simon Cowell.
Bower's reporting is usually fairly factual and accurate (although elements such as private conversations are quite difficult to prove). However, his use of adjectives to describe the Duchess paints a particularly negative picture of her.
