Samuel Chateau at King Charles' pre-Christmas lunch
The much-fancied royal family made a rare appearance at King Charles' annual pre-Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace on Thursday.
When news broke that the Welsh royal family would miss the festive event and head to their holiday home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk, England, to prepare for the royal family's Christmas celebration at Sandringham Manor, we knew attendance at the luncheon would be a bit down Although they knew that attendance at the luncheon would be down a bit, royal fans got an unexpected treat when fancied young royal Samuel Chatto was spotted arriving for the pre-Christmas luncheon.
Chatto and his brother, Arthur Chatto, have become popular with royal fans despite the fact that they are not active royalty and have not assumed official royal duties.
As the Express reports, Sam studied at Eton (Prince William's alma mater) and majored in art history at Edinburgh University. Today, the young royal is an artist and even shows off his ceramics on Instagram.
“Samuel Chatto works from his studio in West Sussex, UK,” says Sam's bio included in the caption of an Instagram post showing off his ceramic work.
“He began working in 2018, studying at North Shore Pottery in Latheron, Scotland, creating functional objects inspired by the studio pottery movement and developing a passion for wood firing, digging clay, and making glazes.”
Of course, many of Sam's fans are more into seeing his face than his artwork, and the Royal Family's 2018 royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the 2022 memorial service for the Duke of Edinburgh at Westminster Abbey, and other The same goes for his brother Arthur, who has made headlines for his appearances at major events and has become known all over the internet as “the Queen's hot nephew.”
Samuel and Arthur are grandsons of the late Princess Margaret (their parents are Lady Sarah Chatto and Daniel Chatto) and grandson of the late Queen Elizabeth II; according to Express magazine, Sam is currently 29th in line to the throne.
While it is difficult to predict exactly when the Chatto brothers will be spotted, this is the second royal event Sam has attended this month. He was also photographed leaving the “Together At Christmas” carol service at Westminster Abbey.
It is of course impossible to say exactly when the next Sam (and/or Arthur) Chato sighting will occur, but FYI, the Chato family has been known to attend church with other members of the royal family on Christmas Day in the past, and this is the second time the brothers have reportedly been in Sandringham this vacation to celebrate at Sandringham, suggesting that the brothers may be among the list of 45 royal guests reportedly invited to celebrate at Sandringham.
