It's the end of the era...And it's not just a tour of the times. On Tuesday, Dec. 3,People reported that Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan have gone their separate ways after years of dating.

Apparently their busy careers were a major factor in their decision to "take a break," and an internal source said, "They decided to take a break because they were young and focused on their careers.""

Carpenter and Keoghan have not yet made a statement on the split.

The Irish actor and "Espresso" singer were spotted together for the first time in 2023-12 and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Met Gala on May 5, 2024.

Keoghan has been a strong supporter of Carpenter's music since traveling to Singapore when he opened for Taylor Swift during his Eras tour. The Saltburn Star also appeared in Carpenter's "Please, please, Please" video this summer (a truly iconic performance, if I say so).

It is widely believed that the pop star's song "Bedchem" refers to "thick accents" and is about Keegan in various time zones.

However, their "break" may not be a big surprise for many fans. Split rumors swirled over the summer, with sources telling people that 8 in 2 people are "on and off"."

The singers themselves are unsure of their relationship status when asked by Rolling Stone if she considers Keoghan to be her boyfriend, "How do I skirt around this question?"Carpenter replied during an interview on May 6.

"[Dating] a pool is a pool, and that's what you do when you feel real and meet people who are so great and amazing in every way," she continued. Not so surprised that you are interested in what it comes with the territory.
