Why is the Royal family Preparing for Christmas in "chaos
The Royal family is reportedly having a lot of fun this Christmas, but their festivities could devolve into "chaos."As a monarch, King Charles will obviously be at the heart of a said "mess", so hopefully he is prepared for the busy holiday season.
As the "head of a blended family" formed when he married Queen Camilla, the Royal will be "very busy with extra family guests" this Christmas, according to the Express.
The magazine, Royal writer Robert Jobson, said of Charles's Christmas plans, "It's a nice chance to meet his grandchildren. He is surrounded by those who cherish him the most, enjoying the opportunity to eat, drink and be cheerful with them.
However, Royal expert Duncan Larcombe also suggested that King Charles could be noticed surrounded by some rowdy relatives. "If you throw in 3 of the Tindalls and the children of Beatrice and Eugenie, it will be chaos — a Christmas where kids rule," Larcombe told the outlet.
Despite the "chaos" that could ensue, Larcombe believes Charles and Kate Middleton in particular benefit from being surrounded by family.
"But kids are great healers and great distractions," he told the outlet. "After the tension caused by the king and Kate's health battle, the royals focus on making it a truly fun and enchanting Christmas for them, they welcome some light relief and the kids offer it.
As to how the royal family celebrates Christmas, it seems that some traditions continue to flourish following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
"They still open presents on Christmas Eve, attend church services, and push into a big lunch before seeing the king's speech as a family," Hardman said. He understands that people have other promises and does not expect them to hang out for a full three days.
In the meantime, Queen Camilla is reportedly taking the lead in terms of hosting. "She makes sure the tree is decorated the way he likes it," Hardman said.
It was recently reported that Princess Kate could host a "rival" Christmas party instead of attending Charles's Sandringham festivities, and it was also rumored that Charles would be able to fully invite Prince Andrew from the Royal Christmas celebrations.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry sent an invitation to his own Christmas party to take place via Zoom. The event will benefit Scotty's Little Soldiers, a charity focused on the bereaved children of military personnel.
