Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have always been fiercely protective about their relationship, so it's a little bit when they open up about their home life

on Monday, Nov. On the 25th, Mendez shared a new video on Instagram to showcase the "newest members" of the family together with Gosling.

"Meet the latest members of our family," Mendes captioned her post. She revealed that the family's new dog was called Magic, and that she was adopted by this amazing organization [California Doodle Rescues].Mendez promised to share even more footage of the sweet dog in the future, saying, "I'm crazy about her and excited to share life with you with magic."

In a candid interview with people, in honor of her 50th birthday, Mendez shared that she never thought she would have a family. Gosling and Mendez share 2 daughters — Esmeralda Amada (10 years old) and Amada Lee (8 years old).

"I will not succumb to social pressure," Hitchster told people. "Whatever I want to do, I will do."She continued, "I certainly didn't think I'd have children and be locked down. So I'm really happy that a certain guy came into my life and made me change my mind about everything."

Gosling would seem to be obsessed with Mendez, whom he paid tribute to at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival earlier this year. While winning the Kirk Douglas Award for film Excellence, the Barbie actor said, "Most importantly, I met my dream girl, Eva Mendes, and two dream children," he continued, "I dreamed of making a film one day, and now the film has made my life a dream." Of course, Gosling and Mendez met in 2011 on the set of places across the pine.

In an interview with Men's Health earlier this year, Gosling revealed that he puts Mendes and his family first in everything he does. "It puts things in perspective," he explained. "It always comes back to the family first. I don't think I will regret anything professionally, but as for Eva and the girls, I think they will come first."
