How Meghan Markle's Queen Elizabeth themed Gift to Prince Harry Was "broken" on Christmas Eve

As the festive season approaches, royal fans are excitedly waiting for holiday messages from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. While the couple's 2024 holiday plans are unknown, Prince Harry shared a hilarious anecdote about the previous Christmas he spent with his son Prince Archie.

In early 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their intention to resign as senior members of the Royal family. As a result, they celebrated Christmas that year in Montecito, California, with Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland. Prince Harry, in his memoir "Spare," looked back on the couple's first Christmas in America.

Harry revealed that he exchanged several gifts on Christmas Eve, in line with the "Windsor Family tradition." "One present was a small Christmas ornament... queen! He wrote (through the Sun).

Prince Harry opened his grandmother's ornament and was shocked, Elizabeth 2."I roared," he explained. "Whatを?"

As for how the Duchess of Sussex won the pitch perfect present, Harry explained, "Meg found it in a local store and I liked it," he continued, "I held it to the light."

Naturally, Prince Harry wanted to decorate the Christmas tree with an ornament, so he said, "I hung it on a branch at eye level.

Prince Harry appears to have felt emotionally when he saw his grandmother in the shape of an ornament, as he pointed out, "I was happy to see her there."... It made Meg and I smile.

Unfortunately, I realized that Prince Harry's joy was short-lived, and the ornament was in a rather unstable position. "Archie played around the tree, shook the stand, shook the tree, and Grandma fell," the Duke of Sussex wrote. "I heard the smash and turned around. The piece lay on the floor.

Realizing that something terrible had happened, Meghan and Harry's son apparently tried to solve the problem immediately. "Archie ran and grabbed the spray bottle," Harry revealed. "For some reason he thought spraying water on the debris would fix it."

And if you thought the situation could not be a stranger, you would be wrong. Seeing Archie's plan to spray water on the broken ornament unfold, Meghan told him, "No, Archie, no — don't spray gun gun!"

Instead, Prince Harry swept away the confusion, but the humor was not lost to him. "I grabbed the dustbin and wiped out the piece thinking, 'This is weird,'" he wrote.
