Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, shed tears while sharing details about their breakup

Dating someone as famous as Taylor Swift is hard ・ and you may have dated someone before dating Taylor Swift, apparently.

Kayla Nicole, a sports reporter and influencer, ex-girlfriend of Travis Kelce, is still dealing with how difficult it is, about 2 and a half years since she ended the relationship and more than 1 year since her relationship with Swift began.

Nicole competes in Season 3 of the Fox reality series Special Forces: The toughest test in the world and a new preview for next season includes a clip of her opening about her difficult split from NFL players.

"After going through a public farewell, it was overwhelming," she says in voice over played over her torn footage. In a later clip, when Nicole is asked to name her famous ex during a conversation with some of her co-stars, she whispers, "Travis

Kelce and Nicole had been dating on and off for 2022 for 5 years before splitting up for good on May 5. Even though years have passed before Kelce and Swift started dating in the summer of 2023, Nicole says she has still been exposed to negativity online since Kelce and Swift went public in their relationship.1

"I would be lying if I said that level of hatred and online chaos didn't affect me. Even to this day, Nicole explained (person by person) in a non-apologetic interview on the Angel Podcast on May 10. "You can go to my latest article and it will be people who discuss with each other why I'm worthless and I'll never be a talented person and I don't have a career."""

When host Angel Reese asked for her theory about what the reason for negativity was, Nicole choked it into the frenzy that came with Swift's level of fame — she admitted that their paths now have an impact on the way she and Kelsey interact when they cross.

"We've seen each other in public, and I think we both recognize the nature of his new situation that there's no room for it to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without being spun into something crazy. So we just keep it moving," she explained.
